Storage Manager Policy-Driven Archive Automation
- Configurable up to 4 simultaneous archive copies per file — each to a discrete storage class: disk target, LTO tape, or object storage
- Policy engine triggers automatically: age-based, size-based, access pattern, or on-demand for immediate protection of just-ingested footage
- Stub files on primary filesystem — migrated files appear in-place with instant transparent recall on access, invisible to the editor
- Disk target support alongside tape — a fast-restore NVMe or SAS-backed destination that dramatically cuts recall times compared to tape alone
- Checksum verification end-to-end — Storage Manager validates every copy against the source and flags any destination write failure immediately
